Jennifer’s Sugar is one of seven plays selected for production in Little Fish Theatre’s 21st Annual PICK OF THE VINE Festival January 19-February 5, 2023 in San Pedro, CA.
A monologue from Jennifer’s multiple-award-winning play Charlotte’s Letters is in The Best Women’s Stage Monologues 2022, edited by Debbie Lamedman and published by Smith and Kraus. Monologues from Jennifer’s plays Ellery and Quasars are in The Best Women’s Stage Monologues 2017 and Best Women’s Stage Monologues 2014, respectively.
Two new play publications: Jennifer’s Fridge is now published by Smith and Kraus in The Best Ten-Minute Plays 2021, edited by Debbie Lamedman; and Jennifer’s Most Wonderful is now published by Applause in The Best New Ten-Minute Plays 2021, edited by Lawrence Harbison.
Jennifer’s play “Persephone” is one of six winners of Heartland Theatre Company‘s 2018 10-Minute Play Festival competition and will premiere at Heartland Theatre in June 2019.
Jennifer’s full-length play Charlotte‘s Letters has won 1st Place in the Henley Rose Playwrights Competition for Women. A staged reading will be performed in Knoxville, TN on May 13th, 2018, followed by a Q&A with Jennifer.
Jennifer’s new collection of poetry, Exclusions & Limitations, is now out from Plume Editions in conjunction with MadHat Press. Poems within have won awards and been nominated for Pushcart Prizes and appeared originally in Poetry, The New Republic, Southwest Review, Plume, Poetry Daily and many other prominent places. Jennifer’s short play “Admiral Grace Hopper Revisits” (about former U.S. Navy Rear Admiral and computer pioneer Grace Hopper) will premiere in March 2018 at Rover Dramawerks in Plano, TX as part of the theater’s 365 Women a Year new play festival.
